If you've never tried chai, you have not lived! You'll never want to drink your average cup of tea ever again after having one. We like our tea with a kick...and usually a LOT of sugar. Fragrant spices like cardamom, cloves, ginger and cinnamon are mixed together to basically create heaven in a cup. It's creamy, its sweet, it's spicy.
Tea is a big deal in Idukki. The district is surrounded by sprawling tea plantations, dense forests and mountains. It also has one of the largest hydroelectric dams in India and Munnar, which is the place to be if you're a tea fanatic.
Burn time is roughly 35 hours but if you keep your wicks trimmed regularly to about 5mm, it will last up to 40 :)
Make sure you burn it for about 2-3 hours the first time you light it in order to get an even burn and to avoid tunneling
